Welcome!

Thanks for dropping by! This site has been on a new webhost since March 2009, but I am still working on rewriting the backend in Python (which I am still learning). However, the wonderful days of summer are here! Get outside and enjoy yourself.

Latest Projects

The Wall of Pong has been percolating through the blogosphere as of late. We've racked up over 80,000 hits so far, and it has now settled down to a steady 50 hits a day or so. Every once in a while, a DIY site will pick it up, and we'll see a quick blip in traffic. Here are just some of the sites that have picked us up: Engadget, Gizmodo, Hack-a-day. We're big in Poland too (Wykop.pl), but I have no clue what the page says. Anyone speak Polish?

April 2008 Update: I exhibited the project at the NEXT conference in Denmark, and the Danish newspaper Morgenavisen Jyllands-Posten ran a story with our project as the photo lede!)

My research at the Cornell Computational Synthesis Laboratory has come to a close, and I have some fun photos of my small, modular, and self-reassembling robots. Soon to be posted, once the photo backend is written.

Education

I wrapped up my masters degree in electrical engineering and have finally escaped the snowy New England region! Nothing immediate planned, but I am considering a possible juris doctor in the next five years.

Employment

Looking for my resume? If you're interested in having me join your team, you should drop me an email (or you're just reading this site since it showed up on my resume). The rest of you are just here because you are friends who want to sneak a peek at what passes for summer employment these days. Sorry, out of luck, you're just going to have to find out through other means how I persuaded my employers that I'm actually a champion bear wrestler. Better luck next time! :)
